Why I Love Funeral For A Friend.

There are so many reasons why Funeral For a Friend are my favourite band.

Everything about them amazes me they are amazing musicians. The music is just brilliant and I feel I can really relate to the lyrics From the first EP 'Between Order and Model' to the new album 'Memory and Humanity' every song is brilliant and every song I hold dear to my heart.

They are very talented guys but so down to earth they don’t have any big rockstar attitudes and do what they do purely for their love of music, they are definitely a little peoples type of band. I have never known a band to connect with their fans as much as Funeral, they keep their fans as up to date with news as much as possible and they are so hard working. I heard in a interview that they did a couple of years ago that on average they only spend 2 months a year at home . They clearly are the most hard working band in rock. All these things really appeal to me.

Also they are amazing live. I’ve seen them  3 times so far and they haven’t let me down. They are so charismatic on stage and I feel that Matt Davies could easily be a stand up comedian if God forbid Funeral for a Friend ever ends. On stage they have so much energy and the crowd feeds of that and they are so funny. As well as this they perform a variety of songs ranging from old classics like 'This Years Most Open Heartbreak' and 'Jeneau' to new tracks like 'Waterfront Danceclub' and 'Ghosts', which is amazing as it appeals to everyone, though I myself am a fan of everything they've done.

Funeral for a Friend are like an addiction once you've had a bit you just cant give it up, that’s what it’s like with me. No band have ever had an impact on my life like them guys have, and they will always be my favourite band and hold as very special place in my life. I could probably go on forever with reasons why I love them, but I’m going to close it here. They’re just an amazing band in every way.
